Frequently Asked Questions
When will the tour come to my city?
Check out our Shows page for a map and list of our upcoming shows.
Wait a sec! My city isn't on the map. What's up with that?
Unfortunately, we can only play a certain number of cities per tour, and many times the cities and venues we pick have schedules that line up better with ours. If it's been a few years and we haven't come close to you, call your local theater or performing arts center and tell them you'd like us to bring the show there. They know how to get in touch with us. We'll see what we can do!
How long is the show and how early should I arrive at the venue?
The show is approximately 80 minutes long, including a 20 minute intermission. We've found (and most parents agree!) that it's exactly as long as it can be before the little ones start to get tired. We try to start as promptly as possible. If the time on your ticket says 6:00 pm, we will do our best to start the show no later than 6:05 pm. We suggest you leave plenty of time to get to the venue, park, and find your seats.
Is it really DJ Lance? Is Biz Markie really in the live show too?
Yes, it is really DJ Lance, the one, the only. Biz Markie loves Yo Gabba Gabba! and tries to be at every show.
Do you charge for toddlers?
Each venue is different. In some cities, the venues are required by law to make sure everybody going inside has a ticket. In most other places, children who have not yet celebrated their first birthday are allowed in without a ticket to sit on a parent's lap. Be sure to check the ticketing website of your venue to see what their rules are, and worst case, pick up the phone and give the box office a call to ask.
Are the Gabba Parties before or after the shows?
Typically, the parties happen after the shows. We like to save that magical moment of seeing the characters for the first time for the opening of the show, with the Gabba Parties immediately following. If you buy a Party Package or Party Upgrade, CID Entertainment will send you an email before the day of your show with all of the details you need. They do a great job of taking a bunch of stress out of the whole experience for you too!
Do I need to buy a Gabba Party Package for myself or just my child?
Just like the tickets (see above), venue rules dictate who has to have a pass for the Gabba Party (usually 1 and older). Children must be accompanied by an adult.
What if I have other questions?
If you have venue or ticketing questions, it's best for you to contact the venue. They sell tickets to our events. If you have questions about the Gabba Parties, contact CID Entertainment at firstname.lastname@example.org or toll-free at (888) 805-8930.
